Kindness of Strangers

As Blanche Dubois said at the end of "Streetcar named Desire"Whoever you are—I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."  Hopefully all of us have the good fortune to intersect with those kind people - whoever they are.

Spencer, by accident, dropped his MC key while at breakfast at the Quality Bakery in Essex Junction, VT and did not realize it was lost until late afternoon the same day.  After going through all his touring gear, we returned to the rally site to see if it was at the RAMS central rally site. It wasn't.  However, another kind individual, a rally worker, allowed access to the rally "lost and found" in a rally building that was already closed and locked for the evening.

And there was Spencer's key.

The manager of the Quality Bakery, after finding a key at her business, deduced that it was likely dropped by someone from the rally.  She took it upon herself to drive over to the rally site, car park at a distance from the rally entrance, ask and locate the building where the rally "lost and found" table was located.  The key was left with the note in the attached photograph.

Restoration of faith in people in these troubled times.
