RAMS January Meeting Minutes

January 8, 2022

Call to Order at 1 pm by RAMS President Greg LieVan at Rock N Dough Pizza in Cordova, TN.

There were 14 RAMS, and 2 motorcycles present for the Meeting.

 

1. We have no new members for this month.
2. We have 26 new and returning members for 2021.
3. No guests this month: Stefan Mannsbart tried to pass as a guest but he has already paid his dues.
4. Thanks to Meeting Host: Art Manchester IV

 

New Business

1. Dues payments for RAMS Members who worked the Triathlons this past year are on the way and will be credited to the appropriate accounts when received by the Secretary/Treasurer.

 

 RAMS Campout Update

1. No updates on the RAMS Fall Campout for this month.

 

 

VP Corner

1. VP had nothing to report/discuss this month.

 

Old Business.

1. If anyone still does not have their picture in the online directory, please see Spencer or Rosey.

 

2. If you would like a RAMS Patch (old Logo only), decal (old and new Logos) or need RAMS business cards, please get with Spencer.

 

3. RAMS Elections for 2022 Officers:  There were no additional nominations for the 2022 Officer positions. The Officers listed were elected by unanimous vote and assumed their duties immediately.

Vice-President – Jimmie Smith

Secretary/Treasurer – Spencer Bennett

 

For the Good of the Club

1. Check RAMS Website for other Club’s Rally Schedules.  Please follow up on each event’s web site as some may be rescheduled or cancelled due to State or local Covid situations

 

3. 2022 Dues are $25.00 and were due on January 1, 2022. They may be paid either by Cash or Check to the Secretary/Treasurer or via PayPal or Credit Card on the RAMS Website.

 

4. There is a RAMS Group riding down to the NEF Rally in Florida leaving on January 12, 2022. If you are interested in riding with them, contact Chip Mann or Spencer Bennett for information.  Frank Brunetti will be bringing the RAMS Banner to the NEF Rally.

 

5. William Bray, former RAMS Member and Officer, passed away at age 73 on January 5, 2022.

 

 

6. The February 2022 RAMS Meeting will be held on February 12, 2022.

The location is yet to be determined but will be sent out to the email list as soon as it is known.

 

 

There will likely be a ride to the meeting, so watch your e-mails for time and assembly points.

 

7. If you have an item you would like to see on the next meeting agenda, please get it to the Secretary by the Wednesday prior to the meeting and it will be added to the next meeting agenda. This is not required for an item to be discussed, but it will make sure it gets in the mix.  Send the information to: officers@bmwrams.com

3. Expenses this month:

December Meeting Christmas Party Expense = $127.63
