February RAMS Meeting Minutes
February 10, 2023
Call to Order at 1:00 pm by President Greg LieVan at Exline's Pizza in Bartlett, TN.
14 RAMS and 2 Bikes present (Thanks Herb & Chip).
- We have no new members for this month.
- We have 48 returning members for 2024.
- We had no guests this month.

New Business
- The 2024 MOA National Rally will be in Redmond, OR on June 13-15, 2024. Whether or not to rent a shelter tent for the RAMS Rally attendees was brought up for discussion. Spencer reported that the price for the shelter tent, two tables, and ten chairs would be $689. After some discussion a motion was made by Herb Anderson and seconded by Butch Turner that the Shelter tent and equipment be rented. This motion was approved unanimously and the Secretary/Treasurer was dirested to make the arrangements. NOTE: This is being handled through the MOA ONLY so there is only one option.
- RAMS Campout at Pickwick in the Fall. Once the campground opens up in mid-March Spencer will handle the reservation for the RAMS Sites. It was decided that the RAMS would rent the same sites as last year with three primitive and two full service sites.

IBA 2024 Eclipse Ride April 8, 2024
The website is: https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/map/2024-april-8 and shows the path and timing data.
The plan would be to leave Memphis on Monday morning and arrive at a location 500 miles or so away in time to see the eclipse, then return home. Robert Rehkopf has information on this.

VP Corner
The VP will be attending the "Horizons Unlimited" Off Road Travel Campout in Virginia tha last weekend in April, 2024.
Old Business.
- The Trailer situation is still open. The Nashville Club will take the Coffee Pot if it is working perfectly and is delivered to them. Paul Whitworth has been looking at other options and there really doesn't seem to be anyone who wants it. Herb Anderson made a motion, seconded by Frank Brunetti, that we find an organization to donate it to. This was passed unanimously after some discussion. The officers will attempt to find a good home for the Coffee Pot.
- If anyone still does not have their picture in the online directory, please see Spencer or Rosey.
- If you would like a RAMS Patch (old Logo only), decal (old and new Logos) or need RAMS business cards, please see Spencer.
For the Good of the Club
- Check RAMS Website for other Club’s Rally Schedules. Please follow up on each event’s web site as some may be rescheduled or cancelled.
- 2024 Dues are $25.00 and were due on January 1, 2024. They may be paid either by Cash or Check to the Secretary/Treasurer or via PayPal or Credit Card on the RAMS Website.
- We need Meeting Hosts and Locations for next year.

- If you have an item you would like to see on the next meeting agenda, please get it to the Secretary by the Wednesday prior to the meeting and it will be added to the next meeting agenda. This is not required for an item to be discussed, but it will make sure it gets in the mix. Send the information to: officers@bmwrams.com
- Butch Turner was having a closet cleanout and brought a number of tank bags, tail bags, and other assorted bags to distribute to the RAMS at the meeting with the provision that "you cant return them". Thank you Butch!
