Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 13:00 by President Greg LieVan at the home of Steve & Donna Clark,
- We have no new members this month.
- We have 47 returning members for 2025. (2025 Dues Paid)
- We had no guests this month:
- Thanks to meeting hosts: Steve & Donna Clark
Old Business:
- The Robert Rehkopf Memorial Ride to Eat at Boyette's will be held on October 18, 2025. There will be a group ride up from the Memphis area and possibly from the Paris area if enough are interested. Plan is to arrive between 1030 and 1100 as the Dining Room opens at 1100. Go in to eat at 1100 or so. Memphis HOG will be having a ride up from Bumpus HD to join us. Watch for updates via email.
- RAMS Fall Campout was discussed. Site 42 has been designated as the RAMS Central site where coffee will be available along with whatever meals we come up with. September 26-28, 2025 is the date. The current plan is to have a ride to "The Fresh Market" in Paris on Friday for dinner and to have a pot luck dinner at the campground on Saturday, where everyone will make whatever they wish to contribute to the communal dinner. Breakfast on Saturday will be pancakes and sausage at Site 42, with serving beginning at 0800 or as soon as we can get it organized.
- Please note that Sunday, September 28 at 0900 will also be the October RAMS Meeting, where the 2026 Officer nominations are opened. Be there or get nominated, your choice!
New Business:
- No new business for this month.

VP Corner:
- The VP is in Arizona, we think, so had nothing to bring up. He will be back in time for the campout and will be sending out any updates he may have via email.
For the Good of the Club:
- Check RAMS Website for other Clubs’ Rally Schedules. Please follow up on each events’ websites as some may be rescheduled or canceled.
- 2026 Dues are $25.00 and are due on January 1, 2026. They may be paid either by Cash or Check to the Secretary/Treasurer or via PayPal or Credit Card om the RAMS Website.
- Meeting Hosts and Locations for 2025:
October – RAMS at the Fall Campout at Paris Landing State Park.
November – Paul Rhodes at Drifter's Diner in Lavinia, TN.
December – Haavi Morriem (Christmas Party so it is an evening meeting)
4. If you have an item you would like to see on the next meeting agenda, please get it to the Secretary by the Wednesday prior to the meeting and it will be added to the next meeting agenda. This is not required for an item to be discussed, but it will make sure it gets in the mix. Send the information to: officers@bmwrams.co
5. Butch Turner reported that Long time RAMS Members Mike Hart and Peggy Russell have gotten married! Congratulations to them!
6. Sam Whitworth reported that the Four Winds BMW Club of Pittsbugh had sent a Thank You Card to the RAMS, signed by all of their members, for the Nuclear Coffee Pot. In Sam's worrds:
"Just wanted to report that we received the following thank you card and pictures from Diane and Tim Pears of The Four Wind Club of Pennsylvania. It is signed by their entire club with a very heartfelt letter. After trying unsuccessfully to sell our old coffee pot we donated it to their club. As you can see they have already put it to good use.The coffee pot was a staple of our rallies for years and many stories come to mind when thinking about it. As I told Diane - "Let the stories continue."Her reply - It’s funny (or sad!?) when the biggest attraction at our rally is the shiny new coffee pot!Everybody says “you have to come over here to see the new coffee machine”.
