June RAMS Meeting Minutes 

June 18, 2022

Call to Order at 1:00 pm by President Greg LieVan at RAMS Rally Central, located at the MOA National Rally in Springfield, MO.

There were 18 RAMS, and many motorcycles present for the Meeting.

1. We have 2 new members for this month.

Matt Barnett who lives in Murfreesboro, TN and rides a Yamaha Super Tenere.

Jim Shepherd who lives in Memphis, TN and rides an R1200 GSA.

1. We have 62 new and returning members for 2022.
2. We had no guests this month:

New Business

1. No new business this month.

 

 RAMS Campout Update

1. Secretary/Treasurer reported that everything still appears to be "on track" for the September 23-24 Campout at Pickwick.

 

VP Corner

1. VP will organize a dual sport ride for the September RAMS Campout and Steve Clark has agreed to do the same for a street ride.

 

Old Business.

1. If anyone still does not have their picture in the online directory, please see Spencer or Rosey.
2. If you would like a RAMS Patch (old Logo only), decal (old and new Logos) or need RAMS business cards, please get with Spencer.

For the Good of the Club

1. Check RAMS Website for other Club’s Rally Schedules.  Please follow up on each event’s web site as some may be rescheduled or cancelled due to local regulations.
2. The Secretary/Treasurer has been in touch with Matt Smith, Chairman of the RA National Rally about Chartered Club Camping and the RAMS have a spot reserved.  Matt will let us know about Shelter rentals as soon as he has information.
3. 2022 Dues are $25.00 and were due on January 1, 2022. They may be paid either by Cash or Check to the Secretary/Treasurer or via PayPal or Credit Card on the RAMS Website.
4. At the National Rally the RAMS held a memorial toast the RAMS Members that we have lost in the past year.  These were Steve Hamilton who left us recently due to cancer, William Bray, long time RAMS Officer and MOA Rally volunteer who had moved to Saucier, MS, Art Manchester III who was very active in the RAMS support of the Memphis in May Triathlon, Shirly Lee, who lost a long battle with cancer, and Hooper Jones who also fought a years long battle with cancer.  They will all be missed but will remain in our hearts and memories.
5. We still need Meeting hosts/Locations for: October, & December of 2022.
6. The June RAMS Meeting will be held on June 11, 2022.  Location is:

Lunch will be at 1200 and the meeting will follow at 1 pm.  There will likely be a ride to the meeting, so watch your email.

1. Donuts at the Dealer will be June 25, 2022.
2. If you have an item you would like to see on the next meeting agenda, please get it to the Secretary by the Wednesday prior to the meeting and it will be added to the next meeting agenda. This is not required for an item to be discussed, but it will make sure it gets in the mix.  Send the information to: officers@bmwrams.com
