BMW RAMS December Meeting Minutes

December 13, 2025

12 RAMS, 0 bikes, no guests, were present.

 

Call to Order:

Meeting was called to order at 8:05 pm by President Greg LieVan at Haavi Morriem's home.

  1. We have no new members this month.
  2. We have 50 new and returning members for 2025. (2025 Dues Paid)
  3. We had no guests this month:

Old Business:

  1. No Old Business this month as 2025 comes to an end.
  2. The RAMS Christmas Party part of the meeting was a very enjoyable event with the "Sneaky Santa" Gift Exchange going off without any major issues!
  3. If you would like a RAMS patch, sticker, or business cards please see Spencer.
  4. If you need to update your Directory picture please see Rosey or Spencer Bennett.

 

New Business:

  1. Nominations for RAMS Officers for the 2026 year were re- opened.  The following nominations have been made:

President:  Herb  Anderson

Vice-President: George Brewton

Secretary/Treasurer:  Spencer Bennett

Nominations were then closed until the January 10, 2026 Meeting.  Please note that the election will be at the January Meeting and floor nominations may be made at that time.

 

Potential RAMS Activities: (Currently scheduled):

Olde Bike Club Polar Bear Ride

January 1, 2026

Location is usually at the Gas Station on the Northeast Corner of Germantown Parkway and Highway 64 (Stage Rd.).

Departure is usually about 1000, with assembly beginning at 0930.

Northeast Florida BMW Rally

January 16-18, 2026

11057 Camp Weed Place

Live Oak, FL. 32060

Group will llikely leave West Tennessee area on January 14 and spend Wednesday night in Dothan, AL.  Will contimue on to Live Oak on Thursday.

Plan is to motel it although there is camping at the Rally site with showers and rest rooms.  Registration and more information is available at:   https://www.bmwnef.org/content

Daytona Bike Week

February 27 - March 8, 2026

This is the 50th anniversary of the R90S winning at Daytona so MOA is having a Celebration/Rally combination March 6 & 7, 2026.  Sounds like a fun couple of days.

  2. 2026 Dues are $25.00 and are due on January 1, 2026.  They may be paid either by Cash or Check to the Secretary/Treasurer or via PayPal or Credit Card on the RAMS Website.
